The circadian cycle can be viewed as a metabolic cycle. Using the yeast metabolic cycle (YMC) system, we have made fundamental insights as to “what must oscillate” and how the periodic expression of particular groups of genes can be specified. These findings have led to exciting hypotheses that are ripe for investigation in a circadian system.  We are looking for a postdoc with a background in circadian biology.
